With a world-class beach, college vibe, and vibrant music/arts/foodie scene, there’s no lack of young people flocking to Wilmington, N.C. However, there is a lack of appropriately priced multi-family in the area. And that’s where Hudson Renaissance comes in.
This first-class apartment community offers affordable rents for young singles or couples looking for urban walkability, just a few miles from the beach.
This HUD project is along the coast but opts for a modern look with fiber cement siding that uses different textures of brick, and an urban palette that mixes white with light tans and dark browns. The property comes with all the modern amenities and social gathering spaces, including a yoga lawn and an oyster bar on the bottom level with a dining room that opens up to a large outdoor patio.
It’s always a challenge working with HUD projects because of the specific parameters that are outlined by the government, as well as local ordinances and the Owner’s desires. We were able to pull all of that together with a property that doesn’t feel low on anything, other than monthly rents.
